The process

A better long-term care strategy starts before the product conversation.

The best plan is not automatically the one with the largest benefit, the lowest premium, or the most popular carrier. The best plan is the one that aligns with the people, priorities, resources, and outcomes that matter most to your family.

That is why MyLTCStrategy uses a planning-led process. We slow the conversation down before it becomes transactional. We clarify what needs to be addressed, who needs to be considered, and how a funding solution should support the outcome.

  1. 01

    Clarify what matters most

We begin with your values and your family. What would good care look like? Where would you prefer care to happen? Who would be involved? What role would you want your family to play?

  2. 02

    Understand the family impact

Long-term care is never only about the person receiving care. It affects spouses, children, siblings, caregivers, and family relationships. We identify who would carry the responsibility if no plan existed.

  3. 03

    Build the decision framework

This is where the strategy takes shape. We organize the decisions that would otherwise be made during a crisis: care preferences, funding priorities, family roles, income considerations, asset preservation, and flexibility.

  4. 04

    Evaluate funding strategies

Only after the decision framework is clear do we evaluate potential solutions. Depending on your age, health, assets, and goals, this may include traditional LTC insurance, hybrid life and LTC, asset-based LTC, or other available resources.

  5. 05

    Implement with confidence

If a solution makes sense, we guide the process from application through underwriting and policy placement. The goal is not simply to obtain coverage. The goal is to make sure the solution matches the strategy and the family understands how it works.

This process is designed to help families move from uncertainty to clarity. It does not begin with a product. It begins with the people who matter most.
